Note to People who have nothing better to do on a Saturday night then hang out in the Borders parking lot and commit misdemeanors: Sweet Lou is very clean... I wouldn't have chosen to clean him with handsoap myself, but it was effective.... sorta.  Thank you for doing that, however... the suran wrap wasn't necessary.

Note to Friends/Aquaintances/Others who are just plain rude:  I am very sorry but it is very much against the rules to give you a discount at Borders.  I would appreciate if you would not ask me for one and make me akwardly tell you "no."  However you would be breaking no rules if you left me an extra large tip... You know, because we're friends.

Question of the Day: Should I hate Borders for making me work every Friday and Saturday night?  Or should I love Borders for randomly giving me a $45 gift certificate and a bunch of free cds?  Such a complicated relationship we have...

Note to Fellow Insomniacs: Do not take generic blue pills called "SleepTabs".  They do not help you fall asleep any easier.  However once you do fall asleep, they make pretty damn sure you're in a coma until 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

Note to Mrs. Larrabee: You should probably retire.  Now.  I'm sure they can find someone to teach Lit next semester.  Maybe someone who isn't deaf and insane and can maybe pronounce the word "wash" without randomly injecting an "r".

That is all

You know what bothers me?  People that think colored Christmas lights are tacky.  You know what people?  I feel bad for you because you have sacrificed all your sense of festivity just to appear "classy".  Well all you appear to me is boring.

And that's right, festivity is a sense.  It's your sixth sense, or rather your seventh because the dead people one is your sixth.

You know what else bothers me?  Why have we been constantly taught that we only have 5 senses when there are obviously so many more?

What is wrong with me?

So I'm pretty sure I'm gonna work at Borders sometime in the near future.  Cool things about this are that the people are really cool (at least the 4 I've met) and my bank account will no longer be in danger of depleting.

However, I'm somewhat nervous because I'm completely clueless about making coffee drinks and I'm honestly very scared that on my first day I'm gonna answer the phone "Good evening, Medic Pharmacy, this is Paige, Can I help you?"

edit: I start on Wednesday :)

Strange and Beautiful

Well it's safe to say that my life has changed quite a bit since my last (real) update.  Yesterday we lost against Chardon.  I cried.  This wasn't necessarily because I played like crap (even though I did), but more because of the realizations that came with the season being over.  No more locker rooms, no more bus rides, no more being forced to run against my will.  And as sad as it is that I will no longer be experiencing those things, even sadder is how much i'll miss the girls i've been playing with for so many years.  It's the end of an era...seriously.

Another era that is ending is the era of Medic Drug.  Medic's across the world (or at least North-Eastern Ohio) will soon be extinct thanks to the power and greed of the evil Walgreens.  And of course the end of Medic Drug entails the end of Paige having a job.  In case you didn't know, job=money, money=good.  Similarly, no job=no money, no money=not good.  I know this is rather complicated but hopefully you get the general idea.  As you may know, i have always had mixed feelings about Medic but there are definitely things I will miss...

Things I will miss about Medic:

-Looking at other people's pictures when they get one-hour and making fun of them with my co-workers

-the stuffed animals

-the stories (examples including man in bra, carnie with a tube sock, crazy-ass cookie lady, dog in the pharmacy, Lou vs. shoplifter, Sheryl vs. Indian people, etc. etc. If you have not heard one or more of these stories, you obviously don't hang out w/ me too much)

-Eating abnormal amounts of subway

-Being in the Pharmacy with Jayme when I'm laughing too hard to answer the phone

-Gaining an impressive amount of knowledge about prescription drugs

-Working with the coolest people ever

Of course there will be some things I'll be glad to never deal with again.

Things I will not miss about Medic

-Crazy ass cookie lady

-Freezing to death in the cooler

-Asian stalker

-Medic Satellite Radio

-Counting pills

-Saying things 15 times before Lou hears them

-Straightening the Amazing Buy Aisle

-My smock (I had trouble deciding which list to put this on... I have a very complicated relationship with my smock)

-That god-awful blue color

Well I think I've pretty much summed up my thoughts on that subject.  In other news, The Jason Mraz concert was amazing, as was the Yoh's birthday party.  So there's my update.  Are you happy Billy?
